I got my first dry brush around seven years ago.
I can't say I loved it at first because it was quite rough. I also couldn't find a way to make it a daily habit. The biggest reason I wasn't consistent was because I didn't shower every day, and I had it hanging by my shower to help me to remember to do it.
It wasn't until I started making my time in the sauna my daily routine, that I finally found a way to do it consistently. I put my dry brush in my sauna and the key was using it when I first got in there before I was sweating.
I start at the bottom and work up towards my heart. Always brushing up. I would not recommend using the dry brush on your face, as the bristles are too harsh.
Brushing with my dry brush every day helped the skin on my body a lot! But I can't say it was just from the dry brush alone because I used it in combination with my sauna.
I would definitely recommend that you try both as well!
I really struggled with the skin on my body, and this really helped, along with good clean products.
